Hi, I’m Kasia, vfx artist from Poland, currently working at postproduction studio NoLabel. I love connecting art & new technology, and I’m really passionate about visual effects. Graduated from Human Computer Interaction at Jagiellonian University and then Intermedia (Animation faculty) at Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, over the years I deveped both artistic and technical skills. My background is digital graphic, photography and filmmaking (film editing, broadcast editing, camera operating), which now gave me deeper understanding of creating visual effects.
I’m VFX supervisor, CG supervisor, on-set vfx supervisor and vfx compositor, leading projects from preproduction, during on-set shooting, oversee work of cg team up to final delivery. As compositor, mostly working in Nuke, but also know Photoshop, After Effects, Nuke Studio, Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. I wanna develop my skills and passions, always looking for new challenges.
I took part in many different projects, have done things, that could seem they are not connected, but in fact, yes, they are. As Steve Jobs said, Again, you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. In my free time I make my dreams come true. I’m fascinated with japanese culture, developing project “The Myth of Japan”, which I’ve done in Kyoto. Addicted to sport, my guitar and travelling. Love making people laugh.
